Mat has 19 years in the Financial Services industry. He worked with T. Rowe Price as a Retirement Specialist that helped participants manage their investments with IRA' s and 401k’s. In 2014, he opened Stewardship Financial Group, LLC in Tampa, FL to focus on empowering his clients and community through prudent financial education, implementation, and management of customized investment and insurance strategies. On a personal note, Mat lives in the Carrollwood area with his wife of 18 years, Karla Steward. They have 2 children Liam (13) and London (12).  Mat loves to be with friends and family, as each day is a blessing. He loves everything outdoors, including grilling, golfing, and taking the family to the beach and mountains. Mat is also a member of Grace Family Church in Lutz and is involved with local charities. Mat is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table^{^} for 2024 and attained Chairman’s Council¹ status with New York Life in 2023. He has currently earned his degree in Personal Financial Planning at the USF Muma School of Business, and is currently the President of the Tampa chapter of BNI (Business Networking International).
